Run the Course 5k

Run the Course 5K takes place at Deer Park Golf Club in Oglesby, Illinois (100 Deer Park Lane). The course runs through a meticulously maintained golf course, offering a mostly flat route with a few rolling hills and tranquil, scenic surroundings. It's described as a fun 5K run/walk with a community atmosphere.

After finishing, participants receive a complimentary post-race drink in the clubhouse, with beer available for those 21 and older. Proceeds benefit local animal shelters IVAR and Pet Projects. Water is available before and after the race.
