OPSF 50/50 Trail Race
The OPSF 50/50 Trail Race is a well-established running event held in Owen-Putnam State Forest near Poland, Indiana. Organized by the Indiana Trail Running Association, it offers multiple distances including a 50-mile ultra, 50K, 14-mile, and 10K trail races. The course features mostly single-track and horse trails with rolling hills, making it one of Indiana’s toughest trail races.
The race follows a lollipop-shaped route starting at Horse Campground, with aid stations but no cups provided, requiring runners to carry their own water. The event has a friendly, low-key atmosphere and provides awards, finisher medals, and participant shirts. Camping and lodging options are available nearby.
