OPSF 50/50 Trail Race
The OPSF 50/50 Trail Race is a well-established running event held in Owen-Putnam State Forest near Poland, Indiana, about an hour from Indianapolis. Organized by the Indiana Trail Running Association, it offers multiple distances: a 50-mile ultra, a 50K, a 14-mile run, and a 10K trail race. The course features mostly single-track and horse trails with rolling hills, considered one of Indiana’s toughest trail races.
The race follows a lollipop-shaped route with aid stations, and participants must carry their own water as no cups are provided. The event has a friendly, low-key atmosphere and includes awards, finisher medals, and participant shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
