Orca Half Marathon

Website Registration

The Orca Half Marathon is a scenic, USATF-certified half marathon held in Seattle, Washington, along the shores of West Seattle. The point-to-point course starts at Lincoln Park and finishes at Don Armeni Boat Launch, featuring a mostly flat route with two small out-and-back sections early on and a longer one near the end. Runners enjoy stunning views of downtown Seattle, Blake Island, Vashon Island, and Puget Sound, with the possibility of spotting orca pods.

The event includes an 8-mile race and a virtual option, supports the local nonprofit Whale Scout, and emphasizes environmental responsibility with cupless racing. Aid stations and pacers are provided, and the race spans two days each September. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
