Event overview
The Orca Half Marathon takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20, 2026, in West Seattle, Washington. The half marathon starts at Lincoln Park and finishes at Don Armeni Boat Launch at 1222 Harbor Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98116. The half course is point-to-point with two small out-and-back sections early and a longer out-and-back near the end. The 8-mile course is also point-to-point with two small out-and-back sections near the start. The Blowhole Challenge spans the race weekend across both days.

The Saturday half is open to ages 12 and older. Some race prices increase after October 31, 2025. The virtual race offers up to 100 spots; runners may complete the distance all at once or break it into segments on a date of their choosing. Virtual participants receive a shirt and medal mailed after the in-person race. Additional fees listed include a carbon offset ($0.95) and a tariff fee ($3.50).
