Orca Half Marathon
The Orca Half Marathon is a scenic, USATF-certified half marathon held in Seattle, Washington, along the shores of West Seattle. The point-to-point course starts at Lincoln Park and finishes at Don Armeni Boat Launch, featuring a mostly flat route with two small out-and-back sections early on and a longer one near the end. Runners enjoy stunning views of downtown Seattle, Blake Island, Vashon Island, and Puget Sound, with the possibility of spotting orca pods.
The event also offers an 8-mile race and a virtual half marathon option. Aid stations provide water, electrolytes, and gels, and the race emphasizes environmental responsibility with cupless hydration. The race benefits the local nonprofit Whale Scout.
