Ordination Rock Run
The Ordination Rock Run is a family-friendly 5K fun run held annually on July 4th in Tamworth, New Hampshire, as part of the town's Independence Day celebrations. The point-to-point course starts at the historic Ordination Rock, a site listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and finishes at Kenneth Brett School. Runners traverse a scenic route through Tamworth Village, including trails at the Remick Country Doctor Museum and Farm, crossing open roads and natural terrain.
The event emphasizes community spirit, arts, and local culture, offering participants commemorative bandanas, ice cream from Papa Beans, and raffle prizes. Proceeds support the Tamworth Outing Club’s outdoor and educational programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
