Overbrook Community 5K
The Overbrook Community 5K & 1 Mile is a running and walking event held annually at Overbrook Lake in Overbrook, Kansas. Scheduled for July 4, 2025, the event features a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile race, both starting near the Overbrook T-ball Field with parking available at the nearby baseball diamonds. Participants compete for medals and prizes awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K.
The race fosters a supportive community atmosphere and raises funds to support the family of Ian Trego, a local military veteran and family man who passed away in 2024.
