About the race
Paczki Run 2026 is a 5K race held in Hamtramck, Michigan (start near the corner of Holbrook and Jos. Campau at Hadley). The course winds through the city known as “the world in 2 square miles,” and the event is billed as “the run before Fat Tuesday.” After finishing, participants receive paczek and water, with beer and a shot of Paczki Vodka available for 21+ near the polka tent.
The day features a polka party, discounts at participating businesses, and age-group awards, creating a festive, community-focused atmosphere that blends local culture with sport. Early registrants receive a T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
