Event details
The Panther Prowl is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Pitman, New Jersey, with the main location at Pitman Jr/Sr High School, 225 Linden Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071. The event includes the following distances and formats:
- 5K run
- 1 Mile walk
- Virtual event
The 5K course starts at Pitman Jr/Sr High School, goes to Kindle Elementary School, and returns to the high school. The course normally finishes with a lap around the high school track, but the track is under construction and the course may be changed. The 1 Mile Walk starts at the high school and follows streets near the school. A Free Kids Fun Run takes place after the 5K finish; the fun run course is typically one lap around the track but may change due to construction.
Logistics and support
The virtual event may be completed anytime on any route; virtual participants will not have course support, water stops, or awards, but will receive a Panther Prowl T-shirt. The 5K course crosses Pitman Ave and Holly Ave; police and volunteers will staff busier intersections and volunteers will be positioned along the route. A water stop will be located near Kindle Elementary School. The road-supported portion of the 5K course is 40 minutes.
Drive-through packet pick-up is scheduled at the Pitman Jr/Sr High School parking lot on October 17. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by September 27, 2025. Awards are given overall M/F and top three M/F by age groups; timing is provided by TNT Event Management. All proceeds fund grants for Pitman School District teachers.
