Course, support, and rules
The course is an about 1.68 mile loop composed of pavement, grass, and single-track trail, with about 160 feet of elevation gain per loop. The loop layout repeats for all race distances.
Aid station offerings include sports nutrition products (Skratch, UCAN), water, sodas, athletic brewing, bagels, fruit, and candy. The event is cupless. A large grass field beside the loop is available for athlete and crew setups, with spots allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis; an indoor building near the loop provides restrooms. Participants must cross the timing mat before accessing the athlete/crew area. Pacers are not allowed; pacers are defined as someone running with a participant for an extended, continuous time. For 24-hour runners, limited support by others is permitted for a total of three laps during the overnight period; exceeding that may lead to disqualification. Finisher medals are given to all finishers, and awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each race (12-hour awards are combined).
