Pawpaw 10 Miler

The Pawpaw 10 Miler and 5 Miler is an annual running event held at Powhatan State Park in Powhatan, Virginia. The race features a scenic 10-mile course along the James River, through open fields, shaded singletrack trails, and past historic cabin ruins, offering a mix of flat, fast riverfront terrain and challenging climbs. A shorter 5-mile option is also available.

The event coincides with the park’s Pawpaw Festival, which includes live music, a beer truck, and other festivities. Proceeds support the Friends of Powhatan State Park.
