Course, support and policies
Courses run mostly on moderately technical dirt trails and non-technical fire roads. Trails are marked with colored ribbon, laminated signs, and ground markings; blue ribbons indicate wrong-way trails. Aid stations provide a variety of foods and drinks such as energy gels, chews, stroopwafels, trail mix, pretzels, potato chips, PB&J sandwiches, soda, water, Skratch Hydration Mix, salt tablets, and seasonal fruit. Runners are strongly encouraged to carry at least one 20 oz bottle. This is a cupless event; runners must carry their own cup or bottle. Drop bag service is not available.
Awards include top-three overall trophies, special items for overall distance winners, custom finisher medals, a Dead Last Finisher award, and age-group medals in standard categories. Entry fees are non-refundable; partial credits may be issued per the organizer’s stated policy. To be guaranteed a race shirt and size, register by November 16, 2025.
