Peak and Pace Run of Nations

Peak and Pace Run of Nations & Carnival is a 5K event held on Governors Island, New York, pairing a run with a multi‑cultural carnival. The experience begins with a ferry ride from Manhattan, then participants lace up for the 5K route around the island, set to Afro-Caribbean and Latin vibes. After the run, the island transforms into a full‑day carnival with nonstop DJs, food trucks offering diaspora flavors, dance circles, flag parades, games, and cultural moments that celebrate movement and pride.
