Pear Run

Pear Run, in Independence Park, Pearland, Texas, is a community fundraiser organized by the Pearland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (PCPAAA) for the Pearland Police Department. This year features the 20th annual Pear Run plus an inaugural Pear Ruck 10K, with USATF-certified 5K and 10K routes. The 5K is family-friendly and out-and-back, starting and finishing inside Independence Park; the 10K is a looped course starting and finishing in the park.

Finisher medals are awarded to all finishers, and early registrants receive a race shirt. Prizes are awarded to top male and female finishers and in age groups, reflecting a supportive, community atmosphere for runners and walkers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
