Percival's Island Firecracker 5 Mile Race

The Percival's Island Firecracker 5 Mile Race is held annually in Lynchburg, Virginia, celebrating Independence Day with a flat, paved, and shaded out-and-back course along the Blackwater Creek Bikeway by the James River. Starting and finishing at Percival's Island Natural Area in downtown Lynchburg, the race offers a scenic and accessible route ideal for runners aged 9 and older.
