Course, aid, and facilities
The course is a single or double loop that circles Holiday Lake and uses country roads and trails. The 10K largely follows single-track trails. Total elevation gain for the longer distances is over 2,000 feet. Aid stations are located at approximately every 4 miles. Awards are presented to all finishers with times under eight hours.
The Holiday Lake 4H camp offers lodging and race-day facilities. Heated bunkhouses hold up to 90 people with bunks available for $25. There are 12 unheated cabins with 4-6 bunks each for $5 per person; these cabins have electric but are otherwise rustic. Tent and car camping is available for $5. A Friday pre-race briefing and pizza are provided, and a post-race lunch is offered.
