Valley View Mike Donahue Memorial 5 Miler

The Valley View Mike Donahue Memorial 5 Miler is a trail running event held at the Hydaway Outdoor Center in Lynchburg, Virginia. Scheduled for November 8, 2025, it is the second race in the Fall Liberty Mountain Trail Series. The 5-mile course features single track trails and mountain roads along the Liberty Mountain Trail System, offering a scenic and challenging experience.

The race honors Major Mike Donahue and supports military service members through a partnership with Liberty University’s Military Affairs department. Awards are presented to top finishers by overall, age group, and masters categories. A virtual 5 Miler option is also available for remote participants.
