Registration, packet pickup, and awards
Registration fees for the 5K are: $30 if registered by September 1; $35 if registered by September 26; $40 for race day registration. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at The Roost Cafe, 103 Edgar St., Eustace, TX 75124. Race day packet pickup is also available at the race site. Participants will receive a complimentary pancake breakfast at The Roost Cafe, a Pioneer Day tumbler mug, and a door prize raffle ticket. Tumbler mug availability is not guaranteed for participants who register after September 19.
Awards are given for men and women in overall and master categories and by age group. Age groups listed include 12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over. 5K awards are given three deep in each age group based on chip time. Overall and masters winners are decided by gun time. Results will be chip timed by Cox Racing Services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
