About the race
5K for Pizza is the sixth annual Hoboken, New Jersey, 5-kilometer race along the waterfront. The flat, fast course starts and finishes at Pier A Park, offering scenic views of the Hoboken shoreline. The event doubles as a post-race pizza party: registration includes two full-size slices of pizza, with an option to add more.
It is USA Track & Field sanctioned and professionally chip-timed. Prizes go to the top three overall men and women, plus a Best Dressed category with a pizza-themed prize. Local pizzerias serving at the finish line include Napoli's, Tony Boloney's, Alessio's Cafe, and Imposto's Pizza, with limited gluten-free options.
