About the race
Pound the Pavement 5K Racine is a 5-kilometer running and walking event held in downtown Racine, Wisconsin. The start and finish are at Festival Park Grounds, with packet pickup inside Festival Hall. The race is the third annual celebration of Downtown Racine, produced in partnership with the Downtown Racine Corporation as part of the Party on the Pavement festival.
The course begins and ends at Festival Park. Participants receive chip timing, a commemorative finisher medal, a race shirt, swag bag, and age-group and top finishers recognition. Afterward, attendees can enjoy street festival entertainment, food vendors, and various performances throughout downtown. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
