Run to Remember 5K - Racine
The Racine County Vets - Run to Remember 5K is a commemorative 5-kilometer run/walk held in Racine, Wisconsin, at 5 Fifth Street. This event honors POW/MIA service members, specifically memorializing Staff Sergeant Ralph H. Bode, a WWII tail gunner recently identified and laid to rest in Racine.
The race supports fundraising for a new POW/MIA Memorial in Pritchard Park. Participants experience a meaningful atmosphere dedicated to remembrance and community support. Packet pickup occurs the day before the race at Festival Hall, with the event starting at Festival Park.
The race combines athletic participation with a tribute to veterans and fallen soldiers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
