Pounding the Pavement for Pink
Pounding the Pavement for Pink Races in Seymour, CT is a charity road race benefiting breast cancer research. The live 5k covers 3.1 miles through Seymour’s streets, starting and finishing near Broad Street Park, with streets lined with pink lines and festive decorations that create a supportive atmosphere. A virtual 5k option is available, along with live and virtual Kids Runs (~0.5 miles).
The event is walker-friendly; dogs are not allowed, and strollers may participate only for walkers starting from the back. Since 2012, the event has raised over $1.2 million, led by Seymour Pink and Seymour Tradition, with Haynes Construction as presenting sponsor.
