Course, prizes and logistics
The course runs through the Southern Kettle Moraine Forest, parts of the Ice Age Trail, and the Scuppernong Trails, including some of the highest elevations on the Kettle course. For scoring, only fully completed loops count toward a competitor’s total; a loop in progress when time ends does not count. For 24-hour solo and relay entries, 25% of each registration fee is added to a Jackpot. Solo Jackpot payout is 50% for 1st, 30% for 2nd, 10% for 3rd, 5% for 4th and 5% for 5th. The winning relay team receives the entire relay Jackpot; in a relay tie a single runner from each tied team will run a final lap on the 3-mile loop to determine the winner. Parking requires a Wisconsin State Forest parking pass; a park entrance address for on-site purchases is provided. The first 30 24-hour solo and relay registrants have a reserved 12' x 12' gear drop area. A designated camping area near the start/finish is available at no charge for 24-hour solo and relay racers. Race items include bottles, cooling towels, finisher medals, and a duffle bag for 24-hour racers; runners who exceed 50 miles may receive a 50-mile belt buckle. A military discount code is listed.
