Q50 Races Chupacabra
The Q50 Races Chupacabra is a night trail running event held at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, Louisiana. Participants can choose between 5-mile and 10-mile distances, with the 10-mile race consisting of two scenic loops on dirt trails featuring gentle hills. The race starts just before midnight, creating a unique nighttime running experience.
Runners must bring their own hydration containers as the event practices a green policy with no paper cups provided. A single aid station at the finish offers water and Gatorade. The race emphasizes environmental respect, requiring runners to carry out all trash and forbidding flora or fauna collection.
Food is provided post-race by the New Orleans Mission. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
