About the race
Q50 Races Trails Extravaganza takes place at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, Louisiana. The event offers five distances: 50, 30, 20, 10, and 5 miles, run on mostly single-track dirt through the park with campsites. The atmosphere emphasizes safety, self-sufficiency, and mutual respect, with no refunds and rules such as no dogs and no pacers.
Finisher rewards include a half Q50 Buckel for 50-mile finishers and a walking cane for 30-milers, plus finishers’ meals and aid stations along loops of about 10 miles.
