The Q50 Races Trails Extravaganza takes place on February 7, 2026, at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, Louisiana. The event marks the organizer’s 20th year anniversary. Park entrance requires a $3 per person fee. Distances offered include:

The event uses looped sections of trail, with most loops about 10 miles long. An overall ultra cut-off is 14 hours. Registration closes a few days before the event and no refunds are offered.
Course, aid and rules
The course is mostly single-track dirt through park terrain and campsites. Aid provisions vary by distance: multiple food stations serve the longer distances, there is no station for the 5-mile course, and the 10-mile course has a station around mile 2 and again near mile 5. Water is provided at stations for filling personal hydration containers; participants must bring their own bottles or hydration systems.
Mandatory equipment includes a whistle and a hydration system. Several rules apply: no pacers, no dogs, no bicycles, no strollers, no earphones, and no vehicles accompanying runners. Runners must carry out their trash and must not remove any natural items. Race numbers must be visible on the front of the runner.
