Event overview
The 2025 Queens Marathon & QDR Half Marathon take place in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, on December 7, 2025, with race weekend activities the day before. An expo is scheduled for December 6 (location and time to be announced) where participants can pick up shirts and bibs. The event includes a shakeout race, Queens Get The Money (QGTM), on December 6 with two heats: a competitive wave with prize money (amounts TBA) and a general wave. The QGTM start/finish is near the Queens Unisphere and portable restrooms will be on site.
Race details, course and logistics
The marathon uses a certified loop course: the full marathon is four loops and the half marathon is two loops. The course is USATF certified and listed as a Boston qualifier. Organizers removed several tight turns and other segments to create a simpler loop with fewer sharp turns and extended sightlines near the reflection pool and Queens Theatre. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary finishers, and to the top three in each age group: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. All finishers of the marathon and half marathon receive a finisher medal. Base registration fees shown include Full Marathon US$120, Half Marathon US$80, 10K US$40, and 5K US$30; discounted member rates are available. Parking options and public transit directions include the Queens Museum parking lot and the 7 train to Mets-Willets Point (about a 10-minute walk).
