Event details
Quarry Turkey takes place on November 29, 2025 at Quarry Lakes Regional Park in Fremont, California. The event offers multiple distances on mostly-flat trails around the Quarry Lakes area:
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Little Turkeys race (about 100 yards)
The race description notes the course is mostly flat and run on the park trails. Walkers are welcome. Thanksgiving-themed costumes for adults and children are encouraged. A Double Turkey Challenge is available for participants who also take part in Brazen Racing's Thanksgiving Day event; completing both events (in person or remotely) makes a participant eligible for a connector medal that links the two race medals.
Additional information
There are youth categories for participants 12 years old and under and a virtual runner option. The event supports the Alameda County Community Food Bank; participants are encouraged to bring at least one canned good on race morning, cash donations are accepted during registration, and donation bins will be available on race day.
