Race to the Rock

The Race to the Rock is a scenic 5K run held in Chimney Rock, North Carolina, featuring a challenging course that begins at the Best View Motel and ascends through Chimney Rock State Park. Participants are treated to breathtaking views of the Hickory Nut Gorge and Lake Lure as they navigate the switchback road leading to the base of the iconic rock formation. The event is open to runners aged 10 and older, and includes a packet pick-up prior to the race.
