Race to the Top of Vermont

Website Registration

The Race to the Top of Vermont is an annual uphill challenge held every August on Mt. Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak. Participants, including hikers, bikers, and runners from the U.S.

and Canada, tackle a 4.3-mile course ascending the historic Mansfield Toll Road with a 2,564-foot elevation gain. The event supports the Catamount Trail Association and offers a mix of competition and community spirit, welcoming solo participants and teams alike. Along with the physical challenge, participants enjoy spectacular mountain views and a festive atmosphere with awards, a kids' fun run, and post-race activities in Stowe.
