About the race
Raceway 5K/3K is a Run/Walk event held at Raceway Woods Forest Preserve in Carpentersville, Illinois, at the site of the former Meadowdale International Speedway (N/W Corner of Route 31 & Main Street/Huntley Road). The event offers 5K and 3K routes for runners and walkers, with a family-friendly, community atmosphere and a special note that dogs are welcome. The course combines historic track features—curves, straightaways, bank turns, and hills—inside a scenic northeastern Illinois preserve.
Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Carpentersville’s charities, including the F.I.S.H. Food Pantry and Operation Warm. A virtual option and top awards add to the experience. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
