Bat Race 10K

Batavia United Way hosts the Bat Race 5K/10K, a Halloween-themed running and walking event in downtown Batavia, Illinois, along the Fox River Bike Path. The 12th annual race offers 5K and 10K routes plus a Kids’ 1/4 mile Fun Run, welcoming runners and walkers of all abilities. Chips timing and awards recognize the top three male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K, and every participant receives a finishing medal.

The day features a Halloween costume contest with prizes, plus festive on-site offerings and family-friendly activities. Packet pickup is at Pal Joey’s and on race morning, with proceeds supporting Batavia United Way programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
