Rainbow Ridge 50k
The Rainbow Ridge 50k and 20k trail races take place near Rainbow, Oregon, offering stunning Pacific Northwest scenery. The 20k starts at the Upper McKenzie Community Center, featuring a 2,600-foot climb to Kings Castle summit with panoramic views of the McKenzie River valley and Cascade peaks, followed by a fast downhill finish. The 50k begins after a shuttle to Olallie North trailhead, ascending Horse Pasture Mountain for 360-degree vistas of The Three Sisters wilderness.
Runners traverse ridgeline trails, descend to O’Leary/Castle Rock trailhead, then climb again to Kings Castle before a thrilling six-mile downhill single-track finish through mossy forest.
