Event details
The courses use a mix of road and bike path over rolling terrain. An optional early start is available for half-marathon runners who expect to take more than 2 hours 45 minutes to complete the course. Half-marathon entry is limited to the first 650 registrations; 5k registration is limited to the first 350 entries. The 5k Youth Entry is open to ages 12 and under; the half marathon is open to ages 12 to 99. Registration deadlines and price increase dates are listed by event.
Entry includes race entry, free race photo downloads, music, hot cocoa, and quesadillas. Half-marathon finishers who complete the course receive a finisher's medal. Long sleeve adult tech shirts are included with half-marathon entries; 5k entries include a short sleeve t-shirt or an upgrade to a long sleeve tech shirt for $5. The race is the final event in the Racing Underground Winter Running Series, which also includes December and January races. Post-race activities are held near the Colorado Tap House at 14982 W. 69th Ave, which lists beverage and food options and a $2 beverage discount with a race bib on race day.
