Rec Jam 5k

Rec Jam 5k, held in Waynesville, NC, is a fundraiser for Waynesville Parks & Recreation celebrating its 25th anniversary. The race starts and finishes at the Waynesville Recreation Center and winds along a scenic greenway. The course is fairly flat with about 60 feet of elevation gain, offering a fast option for competitive runners and a pleasant morning for families.

Some packed dirt/gravel sections are noted. Walkers are welcome, and strollers and leashed dogs may participate if they start at the back of the pack.
