Red Kettle Run

The Red Kettle Run, hosted by The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary of Northwest Louisiana, takes place at the LSUS campus in Shreveport, LA. This annual event supports local philanthropic efforts including shelters, youth clubs, and holiday assistance programs. Participants can choose from a 1/2 mile fun run, 5K, 10K, or a Sleep-in Supporter option.

The course is flat and fast, starting near the Pioneer Heritage Center with two loops finishing behind the HPE building. Awards include cash prizes for overall winners and medals for age groups.
