The Red Sneakers Peoria 5K & Teal Pumpkin Festival is scheduled for October 11, 2025, at Tower Park on East Kingman Avenue in Peoria Heights, IL (1222 E Kingman Ave). The event is organized by the Red Sneakers Peoria Chapter to raise awareness and funds for food allergy education, research, advocacy and support. The day includes a Teal Pumpkin Fall Festival with allergy-focused activities, non-food treats, demonstrations such as practice epinephrine use, face painting, live music and family-friendly attractions. The festival is described as free and allergy friendly. The event runs rain or shine and does not allow dogs. A T-shirt is included with registration; kids 12 and under receive an automatic $10 discount.

• 1 Mile Run (untimed) + virtual Bike 10K (Duathlon Super Sprint)
• 1 Mile Run (untimed) + virtual Swim 0.5K + Bike 10K (Triathlon Super Sprint)
• Virtual challenges: Distance, Time, Tally, Elevation
• Virtual Marathon Relay (1-4 person) and festival-only registration

Virtual and multisport participants are asked to post results on Race Roster and event social media to qualify for prizes. Packet pickup locations include RC Outfitters prior to the event and Tower Park on event day. Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing.
