Course and logistics
The course is an open route on the beach path using out-and-back loops. Specific loop formats given: the 5k is an out-and-back route, the 10k is two 5k loops, the 15k is three 5k loops, and the half marathon is three 4.36-mile loops. Course maps and route details were provided by the organizer.
An aid station is located at the turnaround/start-finish area and supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and gels. Parking is free in the nearby residential area; the beach parking lot requires payment.
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, event results posted on the organizer website within 12-24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Transfers are handled by request and the event has a no-refund policy. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit; an early start is available by request.
