About the race
Reindeer Run Mpls is a long-running Minnesota tradition around Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. The event offers 5K, 10K and 15K distances, plus a Kids Run, with options for live or virtual participation. Since 1987, it has fostered a festive atmosphere with costumed runners and photo opportunities with Mr.
and Mrs. Claus and Rudolph, celebrating a healthy holiday spirit. The course loops Lake Harriet near the Bandshell, providing scenic views and a family-friendly vibe.
Participants receive a shirt and finisher medal, and Kids Run entrants get a beanie as well as a medal. Bib and shirt pickup occurs ahead of race day, and the event supports the Salvation Army as part of the Minnesota Run Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
