Course and onsite activities
Races are held on Parrie Haynes Ranch. The course uses trails with rolling hills, stream crossings, pastures, and a segment that runs along the Lampasas River. The race day concludes with a Beer Mile that combines drinking four twelve-ounce beers and running four quarter-mile loops around the camp meadow; participants must be 21 or older to enter the Beer Mile.
