Rim to River 100

The Rim to River 100 is a 100-mile trail race held in New River Gorge National Park, West Virginia. It is the only 100-mile trail race in the state and features a challenging out-and-back course that includes winding single track and rail-to-trail sections. Runners traverse from the rim of the gorge down to the riverbank multiple times, passing waterfalls, whitewater, scenic views, ghost towns, cemeteries, and abandoned mines.

The event offers a 32-hour time limit for completion, with finisher awards including custom belt buckles and mugs. Proceeds support Adventure Appalachia, promoting outdoor education and adventure experiences. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
