The event takes place on more than 160 acres of rugged backcountry at the base of the Allegheny Mountains and bordering George Washington National Forest. It combines ultra-endurance elements with terrain features such as single-track, water crossings, mud, and built challenge zones. The format mixes ruck events, obstacle-style testing, selection-style evolutions, and psychological and emotional resilience exercises led by experienced cadre and coaches.
