Rock the Heat 10k
The Rock the Heat 10k is a scenic running event held at Rock Creek Regional Park in Rockville, Maryland. The course features about one mile of paved path and two miles of trail with rolling hills, with the 10k consisting of two out-and-back loops. Participants receive a finisher medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing.
The race supports Medals4Mettle®, a charity that donates medals to individuals battling serious illnesses. Water stations are available along the course, and restrooms are located within the park. A virtual race option is also offered for those unable to attend in person.
