Rocky Raccoon 100
The Rocky Raccoon 100, organized by USWE Endurance and Tejas Trails, is a premier trail running event held annually in early February at Huntsville State Park, Texas. Offering 100-mile and 100km distances, the race features five 20-mile loops around a scenic lake, crossing wooden bridges and winding through towering East Texas pine forests. The course is known for its gentle elevation changes, pine needle trails, and excellent markings, making navigation easy even at night.
Runners benefit from world-class aid stations, generous cutoffs, and a family-friendly atmosphere with youth races and spectator activities. The event also serves as a Western States 100 qualifier, attracting both veteran and rookie ultra runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
