Event overview
Rocky's Run 5k is a 5k running and walking event held on the University of South Florida Tampa campus. The event includes separate RUN and WALK entries and uses a course that passes through MLK Plaza and campus greenery. The official event address is 4202 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, FL 33620.
Logistics and race details
The starting line has moved to the Marshall Student Center in front of Chick-fil-A; participants are asked not to go to the Beard Garage/Juniper-Poplar side of campus. Free parking is available in Collins Garage and Crescent Hill Garage. Early packet pick-up is available at the USF Tampa Library (Thursday and Friday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM) and race-day packet pick-up is at the Marshall Student Center (starting at 7:00 AM). Pre-race coffee is provided by Starbucks; post-race refreshments are provided by Sprouts and EverBowl.
Awards recognize the top two overall male and female finishers and first-place males and females in the following age categories: 9 and under; 10-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 and over.
