The Spring Fling - Dallas is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2026, in the Dallas area (TBD), ZIP 75203. The event is presented by Bigfoot Running Company. The course includes mixed surfaces such as pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Events take place in public parks, greenbelts, and roads, where runners may encounter other park users. Races proceed in all weather conditions. Race shirts are guaranteed if requested at least 10 days before race day.
Distances, timing, and awards
- Kids Dash - 20-yard dash for 10 and under; not timed.
- 1 Mile - not chip-timed; includes race tee and finisher medal.
- 5K (3.11 miles) - chip-timed; age-group awards and overall trophies.
- 10K (6.22 miles) - chip-timed; age-group awards and overall trophies.
- Volunteer then Run 5K - limited to first five; includes chip-timed bib and shirt.
- Virtual Run - virtual option available.
The 5K and 10K have chip timing and age-group awards. Age groups cover standard ranges from 10 and under through 70+. First overall male and female receive a Bigfoot Trophy; Masters (40+) receive special recognition. Youth pricing allows 12 and under to enter the 5K or 10K for $15. The event lists a referral refund of $20 when five friends register and offers group discounts with automatic refunds as groups grow.
