Romancing the Island Half Marathon

Romancing the Island Half Marathon & 10K takes place at Angel Island State Park, Belvedere Tiburon, California. The course is a hilly loop around the island: the half marathon runs the loop twice, the 10K once. Runners enjoy panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, Alcatraz, the East Bay and Marin County.

A chartered ferry to Angel Island is required, with the ferry fee included in registration. The event is limited to 400 participants; there are no on-course aid stations, so carrying water is recommended, with limited aid before the half’s second loop.
