Route 66 Foot Race

The Route 66 5K Foot Race, held annually in downtown Springfield, Illinois, offers a unique running experience alongside classic cars featured in the Route 66 Mother Road Festival. The event includes a 5K race, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and a Virtual 5K option. The course consists of a 1.03-mile loop through the festival area, with 5K participants completing three loops.

The race features chip timing, marked routes with safety cones, and water stations at the start/finish line. Participants receive a finisher medal, T-shirt, and other swag.
