Rowlett Holiday 5K & Fun Run : overview
The Rowlett Holiday 5K & Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Rowlett High School, 4700 President George Bush Highway, Rowlett, TX 75088. This is the second annual edition and proceeds support the local Rowlett cross country team. The event includes a traditional 5K run, a shorter kids and adult fun run/power walk, and a shirt-only option.

The course is an out-and-back that starts on the high school campus and goes through the Pecan Grove Park trail behind the recreation center. Surfaces include concrete and field with some narrow sections; strollers are not recommended and pets are not permitted on the course. Every 5K participant will receive a finisher medal. Awards will be given to the top three male and female overall finishers and in the age groups 18 & under, 19-30, 31-45, 46-60, and 61+.
Parking is available at the back and front of Rowlett High School, with limited spaces near President George Bush Highway. Event vendors will include Rowlett High School student groups and food trucks. Registrations have tiered fees: the 5K starts at $35, the fun run at $25, and the shirt-only option is $25; fees increase after November 13 and shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed by December 1.
