Ruff Run California

Ruff Run California is an annual obstacle run held in Phelan, CA, set in the scenic high desert at 4,200 feet elevation. The event features a 4ishK course with over 20 obstacles that challenge participants and their dogs, testing training, teamwork, and strategy through mud, water, and mental challenges. The 2025 race includes a new course section and custom jerseys for all participants.

Besides the competitive 4k wave, there are also a 4ishK fun run and a 1k fun walk/run. The event fosters a lively atmosphere with an after-party featuring music, games, and vendors, making it a fun day for both runners and their pups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
