Rump Roast Run

The Lakeland Rotary's Rump Roast Run is an annual running event held in Minocqua, Wisconsin, featuring a 5K run/walk, a 10K run, and a 1-mile Calf Mile kids' race for children aged 10 and under. Both the 5K and 10K courses start in downtown Minocqua and finish at the Bearskin State Trail trestle, with scenic routes along Lake Minocqua's shore and wooded lanes leading to the trail. The 10K extends through wetlands and woods between Lake Minocqua and Lake Kawaguesaga.

The event concludes with an awards ceremony where winners receive cowbells and beef roasts. Participants can also enjoy the Beef-A-Rama festival, featuring beef roasting, beer gardens, and live music. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
