Charity and services
The event supports Hope For Youth’s Runaway and Homeless Youth Services Program (RHYS). RHYS provides Basic Center Programming funded through the Family and Youth Services Bureau, a division of the US Administration for Children and Families and the Department of Health and Human Services. Services described include outreach and engagement for youth aged 12-17, safety screenings and needs assessments, intensive shelter services for the initial 21 days, aftercare and continued care coordination, transportation, case management, individual counseling, family mediation, food and clothing, educational assistance, medical care coordination and linkages to community resources.
