Run for Liberty 5K - Jersey City

Run for Liberty 5K in Jersey City is a community-driven fundraising event benefiting The Friends of Liberty State Park. The event offers a 5K Run and a 5K Walk along Liberty State Park’s scenic waterfront with Hudson River views. The USATF-certified course features official chip timing and age-group awards.

Participants receive an official race T-shirt, professional race photos, and post-run snacks in a recovery zone. The race location is 200 Morris Pesin Drive (Flag Plaza). All proceeds support the park’s preservation, improvement, and protection, keeping Liberty State Park a free, open green space for future generations.
